Scharping cabinet
The Scharping cabinet was the state government of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate from 21 May 1991 until 26 October 1994. The Cabinet was headed by Minister President Rudolf Scharping and was formed by the Social Democratic Party and the Free Democratic Party. On 21 May 1991 Scharping was elected and sworn in as Minister President by the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, after Scharping's winning of the 1991 Rhineland-Palatinate state election.[1]
