Scarphe (mythology)

In Greek mythology, Scarphe was possibly the mother by Aeson of Jason[1] and possibly Promachus.[2] In some accounts, she was called Arne;[1] Alcimede, daughter of Phylacus;[3] Polymede[4] (Polymele[5] or Polypheme[6]), daughter of Autolycus; Amphinome;[7] Rhoeo[8] or Theognete, daughter of Laodicus.[6]
