Sarla Bhat
Sarla Bhat was a Kashmiri Hindu woman.[1]She was a nurse at Srinagar's Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.A group of JKLF militants kidnapped her from the institute's dormitories. On April 19, 1990, her dead body was discovered with bullet wounds in the downtown centre of Srinagar. She was raped before she was slain, according to the postmortem report.[2]
