Sanjeev Bagai

Sanjeev Bagai is an Indian pediatrician and medical administrator, known for his proficiency in pediatric nephrology and neonatology. He is the Chairman of Nephron Clinic[1] and was the former Vice Chairman of the Manipal Hospital Dwarka,[2] New Delhi.

The Government of India awarded him with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in 2006 for his contributions to medical science in India.[3] He received Dr. B. C. Roy Award, the highest award for medical professionals in India in 2008.[4]

Dr. Bagai, an alumnus of the St. Xavier's College, Mumbai,[5] has written several articles, purported to disseminate medical knowledge among the public,[6][7][8] he is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Pediatric Nephrology and is the author of a thesis on pediatric Enuresis.[9]

He has formerly been the Chief Executive Officer of Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, New Delhi and also been the Chief Executive Officer of Radiant life care BLK, New Delhi.[10] He has also been the Medical Advisor and Director at Rockland Hospital, New Delhi.

After completing MBBS, MD, DCH, DNBE, he proceeded for his fellowship in pediatric nephrology from Prince of Wales Children's Hospital, Australia, and was also awarded the fellowship of National Science Academy.[2]

He is a visiting Professor of Pediatrics at Saint Justin Hospital in Canada and University of Toledo, Ohio[11] and is a former visiting professor at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.[9]
