Sandro Marcos
Sandro Marcos González (born 13 August 1973 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1992 to 2009.
Professional career
In July 2000, Marcos lost to former world champion Robert Garcia on the undercard of a WBC Light Welterweight title fight between Julio César Chávez and Kostya Tszyu.[1]
His biggest win was over hall of famer Johnny Tapia on the main event of a TeleFutura card held in Chicago.[2] It was the only time Tapia was knocked out as a professional boxer.
On 12 September 2009, Marcos lost to Brandon Rios at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.[3]
