Salaga (film)

Vijay Kumar is a teenager from Uttar Kannada who arrives at Bangalore for his education. He lives a happy life with his father, who is a headmaster and his mother, However, their happiness is short lived when Vijay is framed for killing his drug-addicted classmate Naga, when Naga harrassed his friend Sanjana's friend Kavya, Due to this incident, his father and mother commit suicide leaving Vijay devastated. However, he finds out that it was SI Ashwath, who is Kavya's father when he finds about Naga's behaviour and killed him. He planted Vijay as a scapegoat and imprisoned him in remand home with the help of Suri, Slum Shetty and Seena. Few days later, He gets released where he kills SI Ashwath and is imprisoned again in Jail. Years later, Vijay is released from Jail and becomes a fearless vigilante named Salaga where he goes on a killing spree against the Bangalore underworld to avenge his injustice and his parents's death, while also dealing with the newly appointed ACP Samrat, who vows to finish Salaga when he became his main target. How does Salaga finish them and escape from Samrat forms the rest of the story.

Filming started in Bangalore in June 2019.[4] In October 2019, it was reported that the film was in its last leg of production.[9]

The film's background score was composed by Charan Raj, with songs composed by Naveen Sajju.[10]

The film collected ₹15.31 crores on first week and end up grossing over ₹22 crores at Box-office.[1] It completed 100 days across Karnataka and was declared a blockbuster.
