Rozkoš Lake
Rozkoš Lake (Czech: Vodní nádrž Rozkoš) is a reservoir located in the northern part of the Czech Republic, located close to the town of Česká Skalice.[1] The reservoir is fed by the Rovenský potok, Rozkoš and a 2,34 km in length canal from the Úpa.[2] The building of the reservoir dam began in 1951, however after one year of construction, further works were halted. The construction of the dam was resumed in 1964. The dam's construction was completed in 1969. The reservoir functions as a flood preventative, retention basin, recreation and for the breeding of fish.[3]
