Rick Brewer (academic)
Richard Bennett Brewer, Jr. (born April 19, 1956) is an American academic administrator currently serving as the ninth president of the Southern Baptist-affiliated Louisiana Christian University.

Career
Brewer has worked for over 30 years in higher education. Since assuming his role as President of Louisiana Christian University, the school has developed three new graduate programs, and established partnerships with Louisiana Tech University and Union University.[1]
In addition to his work in education, Brewer has also released original music and is an ordained Baptist minister.
Personal life
Brewer and his wife, Cathy Brewer, have two adult sons, Jason and Jonathan.[2]
