The same year, her father was elected to the Federal Council of the Swiss Government and passed his shares of Ems-Chemie on to children. Later, Rahel Blocher engaged in managing the father's consulting firm Robinvest and oversees the Rheinau Music Island Foundation.[2]
Blocher is not politically active. But in October 2021, she publicly stood against the COVID-19 law in Switzerland that, according to Blocher, would imply a "hidden obligation to vaccinate."[3]
Blocher made the 2022 Forbes Billionaires List, with an estimated wealth of US$7.6 billion and occupied the 313th position.[1]
