Pride of Africa (song)

"Pride of Africa" is a song by Swedish group Yaki-Da, released in 1995 via Metronome label,[1] as their third single from debut album, Pride. It is written by Jonas Berggren from Ace of Base and is a Europop song with elements from Eurodance and reggae fusion music. It peaked at number 19 on the RPM Dance/Urban chart in Canada. The accompanying music video featured Marie and Linda in a train through Africa and also performing the song with local people watching them.[2] It was directed by Nigel Burgess Jones.[3]
