Port of Bristol F.C. was a football club based in Bristol, England. The club played in the Gloucestershire County Football League from 1978 to 1992, when they merged with Totterdown Athletic to form Totterdown Port of Bristol They played their home games at the Creek and have not been seen in the game for 30 years. The club has now reformed and Plays its games at the Port of Bristol social club. Since theier return they have are now competing in the Bristol suburban league 5 They played in the Len Bartly cup and made it to the 2nd round. They have also won Divsion 6 Bristol Suburban league and are currently competing for promotion out of the 5th tier of the suburban league

Port of Bristol played in the FA Vase during the 1980s, reaching the Third Round in 1981. They now play in the Bristol Suburban League 5 and compete in the Len bartly cup when reaching the semi finals in 2020[1][2]

Since their restablishment, they have changed their kit from Red and Black to Purple and Black but still keep the red and black kit for their away matches. Their highest ever finish in the Bristol Suburban League was in 2021 where they finished 3rd.

They have several Youth Football teams from teams as young as U5s all the way up to U18s. Since being reformed the club has been working on developing its Youth players in a way of challenging for promotion out of the 5th Suburban Division.

Port of Bristol's Rivals have been Bristol Manor Farm and Shirehampton Colts. Bristol Manor Farm's ground (creek) and Port of Bristol's ground(PBA Social sports center) are only a 5 minuet walk between eachother. The game used to be called the "battle of the port way" because thats where both teams are based. Also Shirehamton colts have also had their fair share of matches againts Port of Bristol. The matches have ended with 8 players remaining on the pitch(1979).

In the 80s Port of Bristol were having a very successfully decade when they won promotion to div 9 in 1982 followed by promotion to div 8 in 1985 however they got relegated twice in a row but they made an return to Div 9 followed by 3 years later a final promotion to Div 10 before they were destablished and became port of bristol totterdown f.c. At the time in the 1990s Port of Bristol were struggling and were in debt. There only choice was to merge with fellow strugglers Totterdown Athletic. Then they went on for another 12 years and the Totterdown port of bristol folded.

Nowere days, Port of Bristol play at the PBA social sports center and is run by the Port of Bristol trust making football in the community a welcome thing for all and striving for achievment. The site its self has 4 football pitches, 2 bowlling allies and a club house which serves refreshments and keeps all the trophies that have been won by the current and past teams. Attached to the PBA social sports center is the changing rooms one for Port of Bristol and the other for the away teams.
