Grades
In this school, year 1–5 are the primary students, 6–8 are junior secondary students, 9–10 are the IGCSE (senior secondary) students, and 11–12 are the IB (senior secondary) students. The grading system replaces the usual grading system, using the form EX S M R I instead of A B C D F. The primary students have all their classes in one classroom with their homeroom teachers but the secondary students have only some classes in the homeroom and mostly have different teachers.
Building
The previous building location is as of now unknown, but the current one is a 6-story building with a library on the top floor, multiple mini libraries, two staff rooms, a general office, a bathroom on every floor, 2 basketball courts, a parking lot, a swimming pool and a football court opposite it and is located at 6 Caldecott Rd, Piper's Hill, Hong Kong. The hill CKY is located on is commonly referred to as monkey hill, as the hill itself has many monkeys. The classrooms are separated into A,B,C,D,E,F and the second and soon to be third grade has an additional G and F, with 1-3 class teachers. The classrooms in primary levels have coloured tables that can seat up to 3 people, whereas the secondary school has tables only able to seat 1 person each. All the classrooms have large touch screens, which were previously projector screens. As the building is really big, some of the year 10-12 homerooms are scattered around free classrooms.
