Peripatopsis clavigera
The Knysna velvet worm (Peripatopsis clavigera) is a species of velvet worm in the Peripatopsidae family.[1] This species has 17 pairs of legs with claws (sometimes 18 leg pairs), with the last pair of legs reduced.[2] Peripatopsis clavigera is found in subtropical or tropical moist montane forests of South Africa.[3]

Conservation
Peripatopsis clavigera is threatened by habitat loss. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.[4]
