Paul Fox (diplomat)
Paul Fox is a British diplomat, who has served as the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Hungary since 2020.

Education
Fox graduated from St Anthony's College, Oxford with a MPhil in Russian and East European Studies in 1983.[1]
Career
Fox joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1987, where he joined as a Yugoslavia Research Analyst. His assignments have generally focused on eastern Europe and the Middle East. Such roles have included Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the United Kingdom (Warsaw) (2008-2010), and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the United Kingdom, Abu Dhabi (2012-2015).[2]
Fox was appointed British Ambassador to Hungary in February 2020, and officially took up the role in September of the same year.[3][4]
Upon his arrival in Hungary, the Budapest Times described Fox as speaking "exquisite" Hungarian.[5]
