Patrick Constable

Patrick Constable (born 15 July 1995) is an Australian track cyclist. He competed in the men's sprint and the men's team sprint events at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[1] At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Constable finished 3rd in the team sprint event alongside Jacob Schmid and Nathan Hart.[2]

In April 2019 the Australian Cycling Team chose not to renew Constable's contract going forward.[3] He subsequently retired from international competition, the 2019 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, being his final meet.[4] On 1 December 2019, Constable tested positive for Clenbuterol in an out of competition test. He was subsequently banned from competition for three years until 19 August 2023.[5][6]
