Parimatch was established in 1994 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The company entered the Russian market in 1998. Online betting website was launched in 2000 and was one the first among bookmakers in the CIS region.[2]In September 2015, Parimatch entered the Kazakhstan market and began cooperation with Federbet to prevent match fixing.[3]In 2018, the company began operations in Tanzania[4] and Cyprus.[5]On December 2018, Parimatch's CEO, Sergey Portnov won 'Leader of the year award' at the SBC Awards held in London.[6]In February 2020, the company joined the Esports Integrity Commission to assist with battling cheating and fraud in esports.[7]In June 2021, Parimatch expanded operations across India. [8]In March 2021, Parimatch became the first betting company in Ukraine to buy a license after a new law regulation was adopted by the local parliament.[9][10][11]In December of 2021, Parimatch acquired the performance marketing organisation Mr fish in addition to online poker room PokerMatch. In March, 2022 Parimatch withdrawn the franchise from Russia due to the full-scale military invasion into Ukraine.[13] [14]

In April 2022, Parimatch announced a restructure to their management, appointing Maksym Liashko as the new CEO of the organisation as Roman Syrotian (former CEO) stepped into a supervisory role.[15]

Parimatch operates under local licenses issued by the regulatory authorities of each country in Cyprus, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Parimatch brand is represented as a franchise with local licenses in Russia,[16] Tanzania,[17] The company also carries out its activity under the international license of self-governing territory Curaçao (eGaming)

On October 1, 2020, Parimatch launched into the UK market with their website being run by BV Gaming Limited.

Parimatch is an official sponsor of both the national football and basketball teams.[18] of Ukraine, Ukrainian Hockey League,[19] Greco-Roman Wrestling Federation of Ukraine[20] Ukrainian beach football team and Ukrainian Basketball Championship.

In July 2017, Parimatch were announced as a Premium partner of FC Shakhtar.[21][22]

In July 2018, UFC and Parimatch announced a multi-year partnership that establishes Parimatch as the “Official Betting and Wagering Partner of UFC” across the entire EMEA region, excluding the United Kingdom and Ireland.[23][24]

In February 2019, Parimatch announced they signed Conor McGregor as a brand ambassador.[25][26]

In July 2019, Parimatch announced Mike Tyson became a brand ambassador of Parimatch.[27]

In October 2019, Parimatch became a general sponsor of the Cyprus football club AEL Limassol.[28][29]

In December 2019, Parimatch were announced as an official sponsor of the eSports club Virtus.pro.[30]

In April 2020, Parimatch partners FC Slutsk were entered in the Belarusian Premier League.[31]

In July 2020, Parimatch were announced as official partner of Desna Chernihiv[32]

In September 2020, Parimatch became the official partner of Juventus F.C..[33]

In November 2020, Parimatch were announced as a associate sponsor of Indian football club Kerala Blasters FC.[34][35]

Since September 2020, Parimatch has been an official partner of Juventus F.C.[36] In March 2021, the two brands launched a global campaign featuring top Juventus stars: Arthur Melo, Álvaro Morata, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luiz Da Silva Danilo and Wojciech Szczęsny.[37]

In June 2021, Parimatch Signed Marcelo Augusto David (“Coldzera”) as their Global eSports Ambassador.[38]

In August 2021, Parimatch were announced official partner of Chelsea F.C.[39]

In November 2021, Parimatch announced an official sponsorship of Indian football club NorthEast United FC.[34] [40]

In April 2022, Parimatch announced their extended content partnership with iGaming content provider CT interactive.[41]
