Overview

The Oshan Z6 debuted in March 2022 and is expected to go on sale in Chinese market towards mid 2022.[3] The Oshan Z6 was branded under Oshan, Changan's affordable premium brand, a sub-brand that focuses on building passenger vehicles.[4]

Interior and technology

The interior of the Oshan Z6 features three screens. The 10.25 inch instrument panel features 3D technology, and the central touch screen is 12.3 inches with an uneven shape. The 9.1-inch diameter third screen is mainly used for navigation. The three screen setup is standard across the range and for higher trim levels, AR-HUD is added. The infotainment system is paired with the OnStyle 5.0 system with microphone-free karaoke and voice recognition, allowing drivers to link their voices to different adjustments. The Oshan Z6 also has the EaglePilot7.0 driving system with 12 radars, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 5 cameras. The system allows Oshan Z6 to park itself and assist the driver on road.[5]

Powertrain

The Oshan Z6 is available as two gasoline and an additional PHEV version. A base version of the Z6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine developing 188 hp and 300 Nm. The higher trim level is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine delivering 233 hp and 390 Nm. The PHEV version is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with an 85-kilowatt electric motor that produces a combined total of 282 hp and 585 Nm of torque. All powertrains are mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.[5][2]
