Nuevo Cuscatlán
Nuevo Cuscatlán is a municipality in the La Libertad department of El Salvador. It is situated between the cities of Antiguo Cuscatlán and Santa Tecla, just a couple of minutes away from El Salvador's capital, San Salvador. It is located southeast of Santa Tecla. During the 2012 municipal elections, Nayib Bukele, a young businessman, from the FMLN (Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional) party was elected as mayor.
