Next Telangana Legislative Assembly election
The next Telangana legislative assembly election is scheduled to be held in or before December 2023 to elect all 119 members of the state's Legislative Assembly.[1][2] K. Chandrashekar Rao of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, is the incumbent chief minister of state.

Background
The tenure of Telangana Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 16 January 2024.[3] The previous assembly elections were held in December 2018. After the election, Telangana Rashtra Samithi formed the state government, with K. Chandrashekar Rao becoming the Chief Minister.[4]
