Muhammad Shohibul Fikri

Muhammad Shohibul Fikri (born 16 November 1999) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with SGS PLN Bandung club.[2]

Career

2022

In March, he and his partner Bagas Maulana participated in 2022 All England Open for the first time. They defeated number 8 seeds Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi in the second round, the reigning world champion Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi in quarterfinals, World number 1 Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo in the semifinals and World number 2 Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in the final, thus clinching their first Super 1000 title.[3]

BWF World Tour (2 titles)

The BWF World Tour, which was announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018,[4] is a series of elite badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World Tours are divided into levels of World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300 (part of the HSBC World Tour), and the BWF Tour Super 100.[5]
