Muhammad Amkanagi

Khwaja Muhammad Amkanagi (Urdu خواجہ محمد امکنگی ) (1008-918 AH) famous Sufi of Naqshbandī Sufi order .[5] He was the son of of Khwaja Darwish Muhammad.Khwaja He lived in Amkana, a small town near Samarqand (now Uzbekistan)., 100 km from Samarkand in the Shakhrisabz region of Uzbekistan.He passed his spiritual order to his son, Khwaja Khwaja Baqi Billah. He died on 22nd Sha’aban 1008 AH (8/9 March 1600 CE) at the age of 90 years. He was buried in his hometown Amkana (Uzbekistan), where his shrine became a place of pilgrimage by the seekers and other Muslims.[6]
