Mugdha Chaphekar

Mugdha Chaphekar is an Indian television and film actress who predominantly works in Hindi language television shows along with some Marathi language TV shows and films. She gained fame as her role Princess Sanyogita in the serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. She is currently portraying the character of Prachi Arora in Zee TV's show Kumkum Bhagya.[1][2]

Personal life

Mugdha met Ravish Desai on the sets of Satrangi Sasural in 2014 and they were married on 14 December 2016 in Mumbai after dating for two years.

Career

Mugdha made her first ever debut as a child artist in a Bollywood movie Aazmayish.[3] She won the Maharashtra State Film Awards for the Best Debut Lead in the Marathi film The Silence. She is known for her television projects, including her portrayal of Sanyogita in the historical serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. In 2015, she re-appeared in Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural opposite her husband Ravish Desai. As of March 2019, Chaphekar is playing Prachi Ranbir Kohli in the soap opera, Kumkum Bhagya.[4]
