Career

Adeli started his scientific career in the field of polymer sciences, organic chemistry and nanomedicine in the Department of Chemistry at Lorestan University after a research fellowship course in the Department of Chemistry at Dortmund University under Rainer Hague in 2005. Then in 2007 he was transferred to Sharif University of Technology Institute of Science and Nanotechnology as a postdoctoral researcher. During this fellowship, his research focused on the functionalization of carbon-based nanomaterials. Respectively in 2008 and 2013, he was working in the chemistry department of Sharif University of Technology and was promoted to full professor in the field of polymer chemistry. Since 2014, he has been a visiting professor at the Free University of Berlin teaching in the "Master of Polymer Science Program" and leading joint projects on functional two-dimensional polymers and their multidimensional interactions in biological relationships. His research includes dozens of articles in international scientific journals covering interdisciplinary research areas, including the synthesis of new polymer-based architectures and their applications in nanomedicine.[5][6]
