Mohammed bin Said

Seyyid Mohammed bin Said al-Busaidi (1829–1863), was the fourth eldest son of Omani sultan Said bin Sultan. Emily Ruete describes him as “ considered the most pious of our entire family.... cared little for the world and worldly goods.... possessed by... antipathy against Zanzibar ”,[1] and he lived a quiet, religious life. His son Hamoud bin Mohammed would go on to become the 7th Sultan of Zanzibar.
