Md. Rashed Amin

Md. Rashed Amin is a retired Major General of Bangladesh Army. Currently he is a Senior Directing Staff (SDS, Army) at National Defense College appointed on December, 2021.[1] He served as the General officer commanding of 7th Infantry Division and 33 Infantry Division.[2]

Career

Amin was commissioned on 25th December, 1986. In his service years he worked as faculty at the National Defence College.[3] He was patron of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association.[4] General Amin was command the armoured brigade of the 11th Infantry Division, based in Bogra Cantonment, when he was promoted to the rank of Major General in October 2016.[5] He was appointed the General officer commanding of 33rd Infantry Division.[6] During his LPR in 2021, he was appointed as Senior Directing Staff SDS (Army) at NDC.
