Mawali No.1

Mawali No.1 is a 2002 Hindi-language Indian film directed by Leela V. Prasad, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ali Khan, Indraja, Ranjeet and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. The film's shooting was completed on 2002 but it was delayed and it was released on 2004. The film was a box office failure.

Plot

Dhiru thief was staying with his old mother and his friend Chakram. One day he sees his lookalike's photo and asks his mother who it is and his mother says that it is his brother. And his mother explains that the Inspector Walia was behind her husband's and her babies' death, so one day she goes to Inspector Walia's home and saw two twin babies sleeping beside him. She wanted to kill one baby as revenge. However she stole one baby and raised it. Dhiru discovers that she is his adoptive mother. A few hours after Dhiru learns that he has a twin brother, his sister-in-law comes to Dhiru's home seeking help. Dhiru question her that why she came alone and where is his brother. She replies that his brother, Vikram Walia, was killed by goons. So Dhiru seeks vengeance and brings culprits to justice. Dhiru kills some of the leader, Muthu Swamy's, gang, but the remaining members kidnap his sister-in-law. Dhiru kills the rest. The police arrest Dhiru and he is sentenced to seven years imprisonment for his crime and seven years later he is released. Then, Dhiru, Chakram, Vikram's wife, and his adoptive mother join hands with Vikram's photo and come on their ways.
