Marcel Ponitka (born 28 August 1997) is a Polish professional basketball player for the Fraport Skyliners of the Basketball Bundesliga.

His brother Mateusz Ponitka is also a professional basketball player who capped for the Polish national team.[1]
Professional career
Before Marcel Ponitka joined the Russian side Parma Basket, he played for Basket Zielona Góra in Poland under Coach Žan Tabak.[2] He averaged 6.8 points, 3.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game for Parma.
On 15 March 2022, Ponitka signed with Fraport Skyliners of the Basketball Bundesliga.[3]
National team
Ponitka has been a member of the Polish national basketball team. He made his debut at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification under head coach Mike Taylor.[1]
