Mangarh massacre
The Mangarh massacre or Adivasi Jallianwala, occurred on 17 November 1913, when a large force consisting of detachments of Imperial Service Troops and the British Indian Army opened fire on a gathering of local Bhils in the Mangarh Hills on the border of Rajasthan and Gujarat after they refused to disperse, in which 1,000 to 1,500 tribals were killed.[1][2] Govind Guru was leading the meeting.
