RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars

Chad Michaels was a runner-up from season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race, but went on to win All Stars 1.
Trixie Mattel placed sixth in season 7, but went on to win All Stars 3 making her the first winner of an All Stars season to not be a runner-up on her original season.

Since 2012, World of Wonder has produced six seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, a spin-off series where past contestants return to compete for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. The first season premiered on October 22, 2012, on Logo and featured a new format in which the twelve contestants would be competing and eliminated as pairs until the final episode when one member from either of the remaining pairs would have the chance to win the crown.

In 2015, it was announced that the series would return to Logo for a second season. Premiering on August 25, 2016, ten past contestants returned to compete and the show's format returned to one more similar to the main series; however, it was revealed that RuPaul would not be eliminating anyone and that the queen who won each main challenge would have to select a low-performing queen to send home.

As of 2022, ten contestants have competed in more than one season of All Stars. As a twist, "Team Latrila" from All Stars 1 — Manila Luzon (from season 3) and Latrice Royale (from season 4) — returned together to compete in season 4 as individual contestants. Jujubee (from season 2 and All Stars 1) and Alexis Mateo (from season 3 and All Stars 1) returned to compete in season 5. Yara Sofia (season 3 and All Stars 1), Pandora Boxx (season 2 and All Stars 1) and Ginger Minj (season 7 and All Stars 2) returned to compete in season 6, making it the first All Stars season to feature more than three contestants and a returning contestant outside of All Stars season 1. Monét X Change and Trinity the Tuck, the winners of All Stars 4, and Shea Couleé, the winner of All Stars 5, returned for All Stars 7, the first season in the show’s history to feature a cast composed exclusively of winners of previous seasons.

All Stars 7 also became the first season to feature a queen from an international franchise entering as a contestant in the American edition, with The Vivienne, the winner of the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

All information is accurate as of the time the season was filmed.
