Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal
Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal (草津温泉バスターミナル (草津温泉駅), Kusatsu Onsen Basu Ta-minaru) is managed by JR Bus and Kusatsu, Gunma a bus terminal at Kusatsu, Gunma in Japan. Besides, the bus terminal is used by the JR Bus and Seibu Bus, Kusakaru Kotsu and so on.

History
Japan National Railway constructed many railway lines, and the organization also constructed bus terminals for many bus routes. Joshu Kusatsu Line which connected Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station with Kusatsu Onsen was open to traffic since transport passengers to Kusatsu Onsen where is famous as hot spring from long ago. And after that,JNR Bus had many route buses bound for resort spots such as Yudanaka Station and Karuizawa Station, Mount Kusatsu-Shirane from this bus terminal.
Facilities
There are tracks and "Midori no Madoguchi" on the second floor.
Stores for tickets

There is Midori no Madoguchi (operated by JR East), railway tickets which are able to use from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to many stations on JR Group and limited express tickets are sold on this store. And, a bus ticket which connect this terminal with Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station is also sold.
Besides, the store sells tickets of Seibu Bus and Kusakaru Kotsu.

- The bus terminal has track 1. But, track 1 isn't used by any regular route bus, so used by the chartered buses and acting buses only.

- Shirane Kazan bus stop is closed due to eruption of Mount Kusatsu-Shirane. So, any bus route which are bound for Shirane Kazan bus stop is not operating between Shirane Kazan bus stop and irregular terminus.

Kusatsu Onsen Station (草津温泉駅, Kusatsu Onsen-eki) was a railway station which belonged to Kusakaru Electric Railway Line had been located near Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal unitil 1962. So, there is a stele on Kusakaru Electric Railway and Kusatsu Onsen Station near this bus terminal.[4]
