Kosovo–Switzerland relations
Kosovan–Swiss relations are foreign relations between Kosovo[a] and Switzerland. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008 and Switzerland recognised it on 27 February 2008.[1] Switzerland has an embassy in Pristina since 28 March 2008.[2] Kosovo has an embassy in Bern. In September 2008, Swiss authorities initially expressed reservation for the designated Ambassador Naim Mala due to his double nationality[3] but later accepted him.

Notes:
a. | ^ The political status of Kosovo is disputed. Having unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008, it is formally recognised as an independent state by 97 UN member states (with another 15 recognising it at some point but then withdrawing recognition), while Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. |
