Kento Misao (三竿 健斗, Misao Kento, born 16 April 1996) is a Japanese footballer who plays for Kashima Antlers.

Club career
Converted to a center midfielder during his times in Tokyo Verdy's youth ranks,[1] After a short trial, he was fully promoted to first team of Verdy in 2015.[2]
In January 2016, Misao signed for Kashima Antlers.
He was chosen as one of the candidates for award 2018 Asian Footballer of the Year.[3]
National team career
In October 2013, Misao was elected Japan U-17 national team for 2013 U-17 World Cup. He played 2 matches.
In May 2018 he was named in Japan’s preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.[4] However, he did not make the final 23.[5]

Personal life
His elder brother Yuto is also a professional footballer currently playing for Antlers.[10]
