Karina Rodríguez (footballer)
Karina Anaís Rodríguez (born 2 March 1999) is an American-born Mexican footballer who plays as a defender for Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), as well as the Mexico women's national team.

Early life
Rodríguez was born and raised in Torrance, California.[2] She attended Torrance High School and the University of California, Los Angeles.[2]
International career
Rodríguez represented the United States at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship.[1] She later switched allegiance to Mexico and made her senior debut on 24 February 2021 in a 0–0 friendly home draw against Costa Rica.[3]
Personal life
Rodríguez's older sister Anika Rodríguez has also played for the Mexico women's national football team.
