Jozi Stars

Jozi Stars were a city-based franchise team of the South African Mzansi Super League Twenty20 cricket tournament. The team was based at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

T20I kit

Jozi Stars featured for the first two editions of the MLS in 2018 and 2019, before COVID-19 delayed the competition in 2020. The Stars were dissolved in 2021 in response to the long planned reforms that occurred in domestic South African cricket that year. All six of the original city-based franchise teams in the Mzansi Super League have been replaced by eight new teams. These eight teams come from Division 1 of the new domestic structure, which in turn has returned to the more traditional pre-2004 province based format.[1]
