Entertainment

In 2017, Gray launched the independent film production company The Hideaway Entertainment,[4] marking the start of his career as a producer.

The first film produced by The Hideaway Entertainment was Mile 22, an action thriller film featuring Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg, John Malkovich and Iko Uwais (August 2018),[5] followed by Bloodshot (March 2020), a sci-fi action film based on the Valiant Entertainment comic book series of the same name starring Vin Diesel as the lead character.[6]

In 2019, Sony Pictures produced Men in Black: International in association with The Hideaway Entertainment. It opened #1 in every country with a worldwide box office of $260 Million. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Liam Neeson, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rebecca Ferguson, and Emma Thompson.[7]

In 2020, Gray produced Cherry, based on the award-winning book of the same name, alongside Anthony and Joe Russo, who also directed the film which was released in 2021 on Apple TV+.[8][9]

In 2021, Gray will produce and co-finance, through The Hideaway Entertainment, Combat Control, a film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by Sam Hargrave which tells the true story of Combat Controller and Medal of Honor recipient John Chapman.[10]

In 2021, Gray will also produce the film Freedom Ride, a feature film depicting the story of a group of young anti-racist activists during the civil rights era in the United States in the 1960s.[11] The film's script is based on the personal stories of early Freedom Riders such as civil rights icon John Lewis.[12] The film is produced by The Hideaway Entertainment, INDE Companies and Brooklyn Media, a production company linked to Benjamin Crump, an attorney who played a leading role in the George Floyd case and the emergence of the Black Lives Matter movement.[13]

Real Estate

In 2005, Gray partnered with Gary Hersham, a powerful London broker, to set up Beauchamp Estates France, a high-end real estate agency, based in Cannes and Saint-Tropez.[14] [15] The company rapidly became a major player in the high-end real estate market in the South of France. Over the past fifteen years, Beauchamp Estates has been involved in many prestigious and record-breaking sales, in France and beyond, including the sale of Villa les Cèdres in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (sold in August 2019 for €200 million) [16] and the Château Miraval, Correns-Var to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (sold in 2008 for an estimated $60 million).[17]
