John Charlton (footballer)
John Browell Charlton (23 March 1908 – 1969) was an English footballer who played as a defender for Liverpool during the 1931–32 season.[1][2]

Born in Leadgate, County Durham, he also played for Wallsend, Bradford City and Derry City.[1] He also made one appearance for the Irish League XI.[3]
Career
Charlton was signed from Bradford City and made his debut for Liverpool on 10 October 1931 in the First Division against West Ham United, he also played two more matches against Manchester City and Arsenal.[4]
