Jeffrey Duerk
Jeffrey Duerk is an American academic and university administrator.
Duerk received his BS degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, his MS degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University, and his PhD in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1987. He also served on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University, and as the dean of its School of Engineering.[1]
Duerk was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2015[2] for contributions to rapid magnetic resonance imaging technologies.
In 2017, Duerk became provost of the University of Miami.
