Production

Reborn is a horror film written by Sean Michael Argo and directed by Timo Vuorensola. It is the fourth film in the Jeepers Creepers film series and is intended to serve as the first in a planned trilogy set apart from the first three films written and directed by Victor Salva.[2]

The first filming session took place for three days in Jackson, Louisiana, on location and at Orwo Studios. Soon after, the production was moved to the United Kingdom.[3] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming in the U.K. was split into two parts. The first began on November 23, 2020, at Black Hangar Studios, and finished on December 19.[4][5] The second took place for eight days between January and February 2021.[6][7][8] Reborn was officially announced on February 24, 2021, when Screen Media Films acquired the distribution rights to the film in the United States and Canada.[8] At the 2021 European Film Market, Foresight Unlimited showed a promotional reel of footage for international sales.[9]

The film's release was halted by legal issues. On March 16, 2021, Myriad Pictures filed a property fraud lawsuit against Infinity Films Holdings, one of the film's production companies.[10]
