Indian Achievers Award

Indian Achievers Award (IAA) is an Indian National Award for recognizing and acknowledging the efforts of citizens and their dedication in the various fields like healthcare, entrepreneurship, education, social activism and unity.[1][2]

IAA was founded by Nandan Jha in 2019 and is organized annually by Power Corridors, which is a monthly National News Magazine. The awards are felicitated by the Union Council of Ministers from the Prime Minister's Cabinet.[3]

The first edition - Indian Achievers Award 2019 were held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi in January, 2020. The then Hon'ble Union Minister of HRD, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank & Former Union minister for HRD Shri Murli Manohar Joshi were the Chief Guests at the ceremony.[4]

The ceremony included guests Swami Avdheshanand Giriji (Junapeethadishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar), Justice K.G. Balakrishnan (Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairman NHRC India), Justice Gyan Sudha Misra (Former Supreme Court Judge of India), Hemant Soren (CM of Jharkhand), Anurag Thakur (Union Minister for Broadcasting and Information and Youth Affairs and sports), Shilpa Shetty Kundra ( Indian Film Actress) and Acharya Balakrishna.[5]
