Imabashi Station

Imabashi Station (今橋駅, Imabashi-eki) is a railway station located on the Shido Line, operated by Kotoden. It is located in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan.

Station layout

Imabashi Station features two side platforms serving two tracks. The station building is next to the eastbound platform. A level crossing connects the two platforms together.

History

The station opened on November 11, 1918, along with the rest of the Shido Line.[2]

Two trains collided head on at the station on August 1, 1976, with 210 people injured.[3]
