Ibn al-Timnah
Muhammed ibn Ibrahim (Arabic: محمد بن ابراهيم) commonly known as Ibn al-Timnah (Arabic: ابن التمنة) was the Emir of Syracuse during 1053 up until his death in 1062. He was involved in both the Battle of Cerami and the Battle of Misilmeri. He allied with the Normans against his rival Ibn al-Hawas and assisted them in their invasion of Sicily, which he provided with troops, guides, money and supplies.
