Ireedui Gantogtokh

Ireedui Gantogtokh (born 20 March 1995), commonly known as IZ, is a Mongolian YouTuber, who gained popularity for his comedic YouTube videos.[2] Ireedui is the founder of MEBORNY LLC, a leading digital marketing firm based in Mongolia. He is amongst the first Mongolian entrepreneurs to gain recognition in the global market and has founded Bets.mn, Keys.mn.

Early life and education

Ireedui was born March 20, 1995 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Gantogtokh Damdinjav and Bayarmagnai Tseelkhajav. He has described himself as a computer geek beginning at a very young age.[3] He started programming at the age 12 using his dad's computer.

His parents worked abroad; therefore, Ireedui spent most of his early childhood with his grandmother.[4] In 2001, he pursued a degree in IT engineering at the University of Science and Technology, and completed his studies in 2015.[5]

Gantogtokh's YouTube videos have garnered over 12 million views and 180k subscribers to his YouTube channel IZ.[6] His videos cover a wide range of topics including trends, tech, education, motivational vlogs, politics and other cultural content.[7][8]

IZ is also host of a Lifestyle Podcast named IZ’s Podcast Speaks which focuses on his life's struggles, accomplishments and various other topics in an effort to connect with his followers electronically on social media.
