Products

Horizon Robotics has focused on developing AI processors for autonomous vehicles and machines. It has launched the Journey 2, Journey 3 and Journey 5 automotive-grade AI processors.

Journey 2

Horizon's first generation [4]auto-grade edge-AI processor is optimised for deep learning in the automotive sector and has been described as energy-efficient as it offers 4 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) at 2W. [5]

Journey 3

The Journey 3 processor is a in-car AI chip that is based on Horizon's BPU2.0 architecture. It has 5 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of AI computing power and a typical power consumption of 2.5W. It supports application scenarios like high-level assisted driving, intelligent cockpit, high-level autonomous driving and automatic parking assistance. [6]

Journey 5

In July 2021, Horizon Robotics announced the arrival of its third generation automotive-grade AI processor, Journey 5, designed for Level 4 autonomous driving (meaning a car can drive by itself in most conditions without a human driver), delivering up to 128 TOPS of AI computing power on a single chip.
