Hongik Ingan

Hongik Ingan (Korean: 홍익인간; Hanja: 弘益人間) is the unofficial national motto and the official educational motto[1] of South Korea. The phrase can be translated to English as "To broadly benefit the human world".[2] Hongik Ingan is the founding idea of Gojoseon and is known as the first concept founded by Dangun Wanggeom.[3]
