Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen

Johansen has a degree in economics from Lund University in Sweden, where he studied from 1990 to 1996. He then worked in the mining industry in the Philippines until 1997. From 2000 to 2003, Lysglimt Johansen was the leader of the FRI Democrats,[3] a politically independent, liberal organization that became formed after the Bolkesjø process in the Progress Party in 1994.[4]

In November 2016, Lysglimt Johansen established the Alliansen, a national conservative, far-right and populist party for which he is referred to as party leader. The party put up lists in all counties in the parliamentary elections in 2017, but Lysglimt Johansen himself is the only member.

In February 2021, the party was officially listed in the Party Register under the name "Alliance - Alternative for Norway" after collecting over 5,000 signatures. People who collected signatures were paid NOK 30 to 45 per signature as a salary for their efforts. Since the party received over 3,000 votes in the 2017 election, it could also receive public support of 1.2 million kroner. Of these, 200,000 were earmarked for a new vote ahead of the next election.
