Hançerli Fatma Sultan
Hançerli Fatma Sultan was daughter of Şehzade Mahmud, son of Bayezid II.[1]

Life
When her father died in 1507, her grandfather married Fatma and her sister Hundi in 1508; Fatma was married for Mehmed Bey[2](son of Sancakbeyi Mustafa Pasha), sancakbey of Balikesir. With him, she had two sons, Kasim Bey[3](1511-1531) and Mahmud Bey.
Death
Fatma Sultan died in Istanbul, and was buried in Eyüp Sultan Mosque.[4] She possessed some structures in Bursa. Among these are the madrasas in Musa Baba and Çekirge districts, and the Çardak Mosque. Hançerli village of Mudanya was named in her honor.
It is believed that she presented Hürrem Sultan to Sultan Süleyman I.
