HMS Elizabeth was a 70-gun third rate ship of the line of the English Royal Navy, launched at Deptford in on 3 March 1678.[1][3]

Elizabeth was rebuilt as another 70-gun third rate at Portsmouth Dockyard in 1704, but was captured later that year.[2]
