Hồ Thanh Minh

Hồ Thanh Minh (born 7 February 2000) is a Vietnamese professional football player who plays as forward for Huế in V.League 2. He came from a farming family of Ta Oi ethnic group in A Lưới, Thừa Thiên Huế.[2] [3] [4] [5]

In this Vietnamese name, the surname is Hồ. In accordance with Vietnamese custom, this person should be referred to by the given name, Minh.

Biography

Thanh Minh's career has grown like a "kite met the wind" since then. Two years after the debut of the U17 youth team, "Wild Elephant" was summoned to the first team by coach Nguyen Duc Dung. In fact, most of Minh's time in the 2019 season was only as a substitute for his teammate of the same age, Tran Danh Trung. After Danh Trung said goodbye to Huế, Thanh Minh at the age of 20 with a capital of three years of football training became the mainstay of the home team of Tự Do Stadium. Maybe Minh's desire has convinced coach Nguyen Duc Dung, but letting Minh play the highest in the squad is still a risky move.

But Thanh Minh surprised everyone. Fighting independently, "Forest Elephant" shows incredible bravery and maturity. When most are focusing on statistics to prove the talent of a player, Minh goes against the trend. Saying that because after nine main kicks, the Ta Oi ethnic player only had one goal.

However, this guy still fights, tries and tries as hard as he can. As the only striker, Minh plays the role of "decoy" to create space for his teammates to shine. As evidenced by Huế's 11 goals, the midfield contributed nine goals.

Minh went to the field with the mindset: "Just follow your passion, success will come to you". And a place in the Vietnam U23 team,[6] is a gift for his progress and inquisitiveness.
