Giorgi Chelidze

Georgi Chelidze (Georgian: გიორგი ჭელიძე; born 24 October 1986 in Batumi) is a Georgian professional football player and manager.

He signed with Neftchi after several seasons with FC Lokomotiv Moscow, primarily on loan to other clubs.[1]

In 2010 he joined Liga Leumit team Sektzia Nes Tziona in Israel.[2]

Chelidze has made one appearance for the Georgia national football team.[3]

Since 2016 he has been a football manager. After several years spent at Shevardeni-1906, Meshakhte Tkibuli, Shukura Kobuleti and Saburtalo-2, in January 2022 he was appointed as head coach of Georgian top-tier club Telavi.[4]
