Ghunzakhi

Ghunzakhi (Pashto: غونساخیalso known as Khajoor) is a traditional pastry in Pashtun areas usually served to female guests, married sisters, and daughters on returning to their husbands' homes after spending some days with parents, brothers, or uncles. The pastry is made from lightly leavened dough, which is prepared with sugar, caramelized in oil, and mixed with flour, yeast, and salt.[1]
